How a Fresh Coat of Paint Transformed My Home—and My Mood
Last week, I decided it was time for a change. You know the feeling—when your space doesn’t quite match your energy anymore? My bold blue walls had their moment, but they were starting to feel heavy and dated. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I wanted to refresh my space in time for hosting. So, I did what any DIY-loving real estate agent and property stylist would do: I stocked up on Sherwin-Williams paint, grabbed my tools, and got to work on a whirlwind project.
The Power of Paint
They say paint is one of the easiest ways to transform a space, but it’s also one of the most impactful. My goal was to create a home that felt modern, inviting, and cohesive—basically, a space that sparks joy every time you walk in. Trim work is still on my to-do list, but that’s okay—it’s proof that no home project is ever really finished, right? Even without the trim complete, the transformation is night and day. It’s amazing how new colors can breathe life into a home.
